Raj foi um excelente guia. Ele foi bem flexivel sobre o horario da tour e foi muito atento ao meu horario de saida (eu precisava pegar o trem pela noite). Ele nos levou a varios templos e mostrou partes muito interessantes da cultura indiana. Isso sem falar da comida: foi tudo muito gostoso e nao passei mal! Raj se toma muy en serio eso de ser tu amigo además de tu guía 🤝 Desde el primer momento te hace sentir en confianza, todo es divertido, relajado y se siente como salir con un amigo local que casualmente sabe muchísimo de Delhi y de su historia. El tour en sí fue increíble. Toda la comida, conocer los mercados de Old Delhi y aprender sobre la ciudad realmente vale la pena, pero creo que lo que realmente lo hace especial es esa sensación de estar descubriendo la ciudad con alguien local que genuinamente quiere compartirla contigo. Raj is the guide you want. A quick story: Before coming here a Brit friend told me “No one is your bro in Delhi” meaning everyone is in it for the money only. He was wrong. As someone who has been a guide in three countries over the past two decades, I can tell you, Raj does this because he loves sharing this place and meeting new people. It’s his work, yes, but he loves it. That makes the difference. He won’t take you to scam artisan and jewelry centers. He doesn’t take you where they pay him the most. He takes you to the places he has found that he thinks you will love - because he loves them too. I think he should double his prices. He says that would mean some of the people who want to take his tour would be priced out. You should book his tour before I convince him. Because after this tour, Raj is my 😎. He will be yours too. Raj is not just your tour guide, he will become your friend. I wish I’ve got this tour earlier. Raj does a great job accommodating your needs and request. He even modified the tour based on my preference and he even started the tour earlier so I can wrap up faster. Other tours would send you different guys but Raj runs his own show end to end. I already did a experience with Raj in Jaipur, I joined Raj on his famous Old Delhi's Food and Heritage Walks, I would personally say that this is my top experience, thanks to Raj! He did a good job getting the group together! I did a private tour in Jaipur, in Delhi I did a Group tour, all the food and expenses were inclusive, so I dont have to worry about taking my wallet! I recommend Raj for one thing where he stands out from any guide I met is He is a Good friend and He shows the city how he would like to experience our city if we are showing him around, Raj did not take me into any unwanted shops. Who said Delhi is only about chole bhature? The trail unveil Delhi walked us through had stories, history, people and taste. We started at the Jain temple, tracing pieces of the past, and ended with kulfi, becoming kids all over again. But this experience was never just about food. It spoke about the people who have lived here for generations, preserving their ancestry through flavours, rituals and everyday life. Every pause carried stories beyond what was served on the plate. Raj curated this entire trail so intricately making us experience Chandni Chowk not through monuments alone, but through people and their perceptions. Once upon a time, the canal flowing through the centre reflected the moonlight so beautifully that the entire chowk seemed to glow under the moon. And somehow, after hearing that from Raj the streets felt different. Die Food Tour mit Raj war einfach perfekt! Er hat uns nicht nur durch die lebhaften Gassen Delhis geführt, sondern uns auch die Geschichten und die Kultur der Stadt auf eine ganz besondere Weise nähergebracht. Jeder Stopp war ein Highlight – von den köstlichen Street-Food-Spezialitäten bis hin zum Besuch im Sikh-Tempel, wo wir die herzliche Gastfreundschaft erleben durften. Raj ist nicht nur ein toller Guide, sondern auch ein herzlicher, humorvoller und fürsorglicher Mensch. Er hat sich Zeit genommen, all unsere Fragen zu beantworten, und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns immer wohlgefühlt haben. Seine Begeisterung für Delhi und sein Essen war ansteckend – man merkt sofort, wie sehr er seine Stadt liebt. We spend a whole day with Raj experiencing Delhi. He showed us sights, tempels and his very special place. The foodspots he took us were carefully choosen and he also considered my special wish for vegan streetfood. If you need a washroom during the tour, Raj will always bring you to clean ones. Would do it again anytime!!
